Brice W. McKane, M.D. was a top ranked graduate of the University of Texas Health Science center at San Antonio where he received his medical degree. He then performed his internship and residency training in general surgery at Barnes-Jewish Hospital, Washington University School of Medicine. While there, he served as a research fellow for the Department of Surgery and published several articles in peer reviewed journals before completing his training in Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery.

Dr. McKane became interested in plastic surgery after experiencing first hand what it is to be a patient with reconstructive needs. He sustained multiple facial fractures in a hiking accident that were reconstructed by a plastic surgeon at the University of Texas. This experience has taught him valuable lessons about what it is to be a patient and he carries them over to the care of his own patients.

Dr. McKane is a Houston based board certified plastic surgeon who specializes in aesthetic plastic surgery. He performs a variety of facial plastic surgical procedures to include facelifts (rhytidectomy), upper and lower lid surgery (blepharoplasty), brow lifts, mini-facelifts, mid-face lifts, ear contouring surgery (otoplasty), nose surgery (rhinoplasty), lip augmentation, chemical peel, facial resurfacing, fat grafting, injectable fillers and Botox. He also performs a variety of breast and body contouring procedures to include breast augmentation, breast reduction (reduction mammaplasty), breast lift (mastopexy), liposuction, mini tummy-tuck, tummy-tuck (abdominoplasty), thigh lift, buttock lift, arm lift (brachioplasty). For patient’s who have undergone massive weight loss following bariatric surgery, he performs circumferential contouring using a total body lift (belt lipectomy).

Dr. McKane also performs general plastic and reconstructive surgery to include breast reconstruction, hand and upper extremity surgery, peripheral nerve surgery, and microsurgery.
