Selecting Your Cosmetic Surgeon
Once you have decided to undergo surgery, selecting your cosmetic surgeon is the most important decision you will make. Dr. Viera understands this is a very important decision for you. He strives to develop a trusting relationship with his patients. During your consult he will provide all the information you need to make an informed decision and develop your trust since trust in your surgeon is essential for a rewarding relationship.
We have a step-by-step approach for new patients considering aesthetic plastic surgery.
Step 1: Initial Contact
You may contact our office via our website, by e-mail at email@example.com or call (713) 349-0503 to speak with Carmelis our Patient Coordinator. She will be able to answer many of your questions about your contemplated surgery and she will be able to schedule your consultation.
Step 2: The First Consultation
Many surgeons’ offices will have you meet with the patient coordinator to discuss your surgery before ever meeting with the doctor at another appointment. At Cosmetic Surgery Associates, Dr. Viera feels very strongly that you should meet with him during your initial consultation. This allows you to express your goals and concerns about surgery and have immediate feedback about what the best surgical procedure for you may be. During your first consultation, you will have an opportunity to see computer imaging of your proposed surgery so that you may see what the final result may be. You will also have the ability to review pre and post-operative photographs of patients who have undergone a similar procedure to yours. You will also meet with Carmelis to discuss fees and financing options available to you.
Step 3: Preoperative Appointment
An extensive visit is held two weeks before your scheduled surgery. At this time a physical examination and blood work is performed. Dr. Viera will again go over the details of your surgery and answer any questions.
We treat our patients as we would want to be treated.
Step 4: Surgery Day
Your surgery will be performed at our SurgiCenter for Advanced Surgery, a center fully accredited by the Accreditation Association for Ambulatory Health Care (AAAHC), the largest accrediting agency in the country. It has been awarded the highest accreditation they provide for the past fifteen years.
Dr. Viera will call you the same evening of your surgery to check on your progress and answer any questions.
Step 5: Postoperative Care
You will have your first postoperative appointment the morning following surgery. Dr. Viera along with his nurse will see you, remove your dressings and examine you carefully. A series of postoperative appointments is provided for one year.
You may contact our office via our website, by e-mail at firstname.lastname@example.org or call (713) 349-0503 to speak with our patient coordinator. She will be able to answer many of your questions about your surgery and she will be able to schedule your complimentary consultation.
